There’s a new watch fair in town – Milano Watch Week lands in October

Pietro Pilla

Milan is arguably the fashion capital of Italy, and one of the most important cities in the world in that regard. This year in October, for the first time, we have a new watch fair concept coming to the city, joining the now-established Watches and Wonders and Geneva Watch Days.

MWW1

The Italian watch market has always been a trendsetter, especially for vintage pieces and top-tier collectors – their efforts in popularising exotic-dialled Daytonas is a famous watch legend. The 2024 Milano Watch Week will focus on independent watchmaking, blending haute horlogerie and the best that Italian culture offers. From the 4th to the 6th of October, experiences, talks and masterclasses will be dedicated not only to watches but also to design, wine, tailoring, and everything that puts Italy on the map.

MWW2

The event will be located on the Terrazza Martini, a breathtaking venue overlooking the famous Duomo with its iconic square. The 15th and 16th floors will house the 20 exhibiting brands with talks, debates, and thematic exhibits aiming to bring independents closer to the public.

The participating brands are Andersen Genève, Czapek, De Bethune, Ferdinand Berthoud, Franck Muller, Greubel Forsey, H. Moser & Cie., HYT, Krayon, L’Epee 1839, Ludovic Ballouard, MB&F, Parmigiani Fleurier, Ressence, Reuge, Romain Gauthier, Singer Reimagined, Trilobe, Urwerk, and Vanguart.

You’ll also find motorcycle brand MV Agusta as a partner of the fair. This Italian brand is bringing to the table exceptional commitment to luxury and precision, as each one of their motorcycle is handcrafted, with the same dedication and attention to detail that defines the luxury watch industry.

So if you’re in the area during the time of the fair, we strongly suggest you book a place before the tickets are sold out, and we might just catch you there! For more information, visit the event’s website, and follow the latest update on Milano Watch Week’s Instagram profile.
