Norqain is now officially available for purchase from Time+Tide

Time+Tide is excited to announce a new global partnership with Norqain, which will allow us to offer their entire collection to our audience, and do so as the exclusive dealer in Australia. We’ve hardly hidden our excitement over this young brand throughout the years, as their collections advance rapidly in size and technological advancement. Offering three distinct collections – Independence, Adventure and Freedom, Norqain’s line-up covers a wide spectrum of watch tastes. Since naming one Mr Jean-Claude Biver on their board of advisers and partnering with well-regarded industry suppliers such as Kenissi, Norqain has clearly set their sights onto a bright future.

The brand’s story began in 2018 with the aptly-named Independence collection which has recently been updated for the brand’s 5-year anniversary. It includes the likes of the Independence Skeleton, and the avant-garde Wild One that caused a splash upon release with its unique NORTEQ composite case and Kenissi NN20/1 movement – nearly identical to the one found powering the Tudor Black Bay 58. With fun limited editions, like the Wild One Zürich Marathon, the demand for a Wild One has been impressive.

In the Adventure collection, you’ll find a plethora of pieces meant for the modern intrepid explorer, such as the Neverest and Adventure Sport Chrono models – the latter recently updated with a luxe gilt colourway. The Neverest Glacier above perfectly encompasses the features of a modern dive watch, and also sports a Kenissi-manufactured calibre.

Finally, the Freedom collection, which is Norqain’s representation of vintage-inspired design. Rather than going for a look lifted straight out of a 60s catalogue, Norqain weaves the design cues throughout the collection subtly. The domed sapphire crystals remind of those fitted to historic racing chronographs, as do the contrasting dials such as this panda number on the Freedom 60 Chrono.
