Although these past seven days seem tame compared to last week during which Watches and Wonders took place, there is still no shortage of novelties. While our selection touches on different topics, the focus seems to have shifted to motorsport this week, with no less than three brands launching watches inspired by the car world.   • Baltic brings back the Tricompax to mark its role as the Official Timekeeper of Tour Auto 2024.
  • Every 500-piece limited edition wristwatch is accompanied by a Rally Timer (stopwatch and dash clock) in the colours of the race.
  • Baltic will accompany the competitors from Paris to Biarritz during the week of 21st-27th of April.

  • TAG Heuer launches a new quartz Formula 1 chronograph to honour the Indianapolis 500 as the race’s official timekeeper.
  • The black asphalt-like dial and glossy ceramic bezel feature red accents, and the Indianapolis Speedway logo can be found in the subdial at 3 o’clock.
  • The Indy 500 is one of the oldest automobile races in the world, and the red 11 on the dial commemorates its birth year, 1911.

  • Moser celebrates its partnership with Formula 1 team Alpine by releasing a Streamliner in Alpine’s team colours, ahead of the 2024 Chinese Grand Prix.
  • The skeleton dial has a blue synthetic spinel sub-dial at noon for hours and minutes and a cylindrical tourbillon at 6 o’clock.
  • The blue integrated rubber strap completes the look, matching the tone of the dial while contrasting the dark grey finish of the movement.

Louis Erard x Atelier Oï Le Régulateur

Louis Erard Atelier oi Regulateur

  • Louis Erard joins forces with Atelier Oï, one of Switzerland’s most renowned design studios, to launch its latest limited edition.
  • Unveiled in Milan, the timepiece features a gold textured dial with 60 lines to mark the minute indication.
  • A limited edition of just 18 pieces, it’s sold with a grained blue calf leather strap that perfectly matches the blued hands.

  • The Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture gets a new in-house movement, the FC-716, boasting 72 hours of power reserve, fan-shaped côtes de Genève decoration, and a five-year warranty.
  • The fully polished stainless case measures 40 mm in diameter and 12.4 mm thick with an onion-shaped crown, anti-reflective convex sapphire crystal, and sapphire display case back.
  • Dial variants include silver-grey, midnight blue, and English green, all sunray finished. The display at six features both the moon phase and pointer date.

Zenith Defy Extreme Diver

  • Zenith has resurrected the Defy Extreme Diver with full vigour, a 600 metre water-resistance rating and an in-your-face attitude.
  • The 1970s influence tames the appearance from some of the 2000s iterations, making it more accessible but just as daring.
  • Powered by the 5Hz El Primero 3620 SC, the blue or black references will be available on a titanium bracelet and two straps for CHF 10,900.

  • Susan Galvi is a Finnish watchmaker who founded the first female-led microbrand in Australia.
  • The Suvi is the brand’s third watch, with the pastel, textured dial inspired by memories of Finnish summer.
  • The stainless steel tonneau case features a quirky matte, blasted texture, with a big twisted crown completing its unique look.
