New releases from Omega, Audemars Piguet, Holthinrichs and more

Among the many releases for this year’s Olympics, the brand launched one last model to commemorate one of its ambassadors breaking the world record (again). During the week, Audemars Piguet and TAG Heuer launched some great summer watches, and many independents introduced novelties in their catalogues. Enjoy reading!
Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M Titanium Ultra-Light
- The Aqua Terra collection expands with the addition of an Ultra-Light model inspired by Armand “Mondo” Duplantis’ pole vault world record.
- The Swedish athlete has now broken the world record a ridiculous nine times, and he’s only 24.
- On the blue dial with yellow details, the lumed seconds hand resembles the pole used to break the record.

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore
- Audemars Piguet reveals new Royal Oak Offshores of different sizes, colours, and complications.
- Two 43mm models – one blue time and date model, and one brown chronograph.
- The 37mm model has a more chic sensibility with an 18k pink gold case, mosaic straps, and a polished ivory dial.

Holthinrichs Ornament Nouveau
- Dutch brand Holthinrichs reveals the first entirely Dutch-made, serially produced mechanical watch movement.
- It’s housed in the new Holthinrichs Nouveau Ornament, with a 3D-printed titanium case with a unique finish.
- The “Eclipse Dial” comprises a domed transparent crystal that turns smoke-black in UV light.

Konstantin Chaykin Stargazer
- This spectacular Konstantin Chaykin Wristmons piece is the most complicated watch ever made in Russia.
- This watch houses 17 complications, 11 of which are astronomical ones, for a total of 664 components.
- Both the front and the back feature anthropomorphic dials to read all the information displayed.

TAG Heuer x Hodinkee Carrera Seafarer
- TAG Heuer and Hodinkee introduce the Carrera Chronograph Seafarer, a tribute to vintage Heuer and Abercrombie & Fitch sailing and tidegraph watches.
- With a 42mm Glassbox case, the new Seafarer adds tidegraph functionality to TAG Heuer’s tried-and-true TH20 (Heuer 02) chronograph calibre.
- The main inspiration for the dial is the first series of the Heuer Mareographe 2446C released in 1968, hence the 968-piece limited edition priced at US$7,950.

King Seiko KSK Ivy Style
- Seiko introduces the smallest member of its revived King Seiko collection to date, with a new 36.1mm size.
- The KSK-style case is accompanied by dials inspired by the Ivy style, a Japanese adaptation of preppy Ivy League fashion.
- With a three-day power reserve, sapphire crystal, and 100 metres of water resistance, the Ivy Style King Seiko is rearing to be the ideal daily.

TAG Heuer x Watches of Switzerland UK Carrera Tourbillon Centenary
- Luxury watch retailer Watches of Switzerland UK continues its 100th-anniversary celebration by introducing a complicated Carrera in a racing livery.
- The dial features a reverse panda configuration with red accents, inspired by the coveted Heuer Carreras of the 1960s.
- The stainless steel watch is paired with a black alligator strap and it’s a limited edition of just ten pieces.

Venezianico Redentore Enigma
- Venezianico introduces a new regulator-style timepiece in its dressier Redentore collection.
- The Italian brand cleverly uses the Seiko NH39A movement with its off-centred 24-hour indication.
- The central minutes’ indication leaves space for the smoked teal dial, with which the leather strap is also matched.

ID Genève Circular 1 Grenat Nisiar Limited Edition
- The new ID Genève Circular 1 Grenat Dial Limited Edition was created in partnership with Mondin and Nisiar.
- Its strap is made of 75% natural materials, derived from raw grape marc from the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation.
- The Circular collection emphasises circular materials such as local and traceable steel, and refurbished movements.

Detrash Likemania
- This ultra-sustainable dive watch from the recently launched British microbrand Detrash features a case made from 80% recycled steel and a strap made from recycled ocean plastic.
- Its design was inspired by 1950s Lemania tool watches, and fittingly features touches of old radium-coloured Super-LumiNova.
- It’s a limited edition of 106 individually numbered pieces, with a portion of proceeds donated to Surfers Against Sewage as part of 1% For The Planet.
