Zach’s pick – MB&F LM Sequential EVO
“So, this is something that George [Bamford] once brought up on About Effing Time – a price ceiling that you will just never feel comfortable going beyond. I love MB&F, and I love the LM Sequential EVO. There’s even footage of me offering up my kidney for the watch, but I will never spend six figures on a watch unless I transition into being a hedge fund manager. As much as I love being a part of this team, if leaving meant I could own this surprisingly ergonomic watch, with a movement that is decorated to the highest tier and incorporates two chronographs into one movement – sorry… Not sorry.” – Zach Blass
Marcus’ pick – Laurent Ferrier Sport Auto
“I definitely want the Laurent Ferrier Sport Auto, and I think maybe one day I will get one. What’s really struck me is its combination of circles, rectangles, and curved rectangles, and the combination of those shapes together. I don’t know whether it’s a square or a round cushion, but it just works. It’s so balanced and just gorgeous. But, I cannot justify dropping CHF 48,000.” – Marcus Flack
Andrew’s pick – Patek Philippe Aquanaut Chronograph 5968A-001
“Mine is the most boring of all watches, but one that I just can not seem to get over, yet can’t ever justify. It’s the Patek Philippe Aquanaut Chronograph 5968A-001 with an orange rubber strap. With the orange highlights it’s just it’s unparalleled, and yet, I think that I probably am reconciling myself to the fact that at £105,000 on the secondary market, I would have to sell half of my collection, maybe more, to have it. But it’s just not a decision I will make – rather, I’ll just get a Hermès H08 with an orange strap.” – Andrew McUtchen
