New releases from Breitling, Norqain, Oris and more
Pietro PillaThis week was a little surprising with Breitling quietly releasing several models (including a limited edition) and a couple of independents who presented classically inspired timepieces. Is it a sign that unfortunately summer is coming to an end? Here are some of the best new releases from this past week.
Norqain Neverest GMT Glacier 41mm Grey & Gold / Glacier 40mm Black & Gold
- The Norqain Neverest Glacier returns with two rocky-faced references
- The 41mm GMT model and 40mm three-hand model are decorated with rose gold running through their cracked surfaces
- 10% of the sales will go to the Butterfly Help Project, housing and educating the families of sherpas who died on Mount Everest

King Seiko SJE095
- The King Seiko SJE095 highlights a chrysanthemum pattern as Japan’s national flower
- The case is based on the original King Seiko from 1965 with an even thinner profile
- It’s a limited edition of 600 pieces and will be available from October 2023

- The green and brown dial options are especially sumptuous, with gold details and colour-matched date wheels
- The new GMT design may be divisive among HydroConquest fans, but will certainly attract a wider audience

- The Blancpain Ladybird Colors collection has been expanded with this rainbow gradient reference
- It comes with five colours of alligator leather straps, so you can tone the playfulness up or down depending on your mood
- The case is made from 18k white gold and is set with 59 diamonds

Atelier de Chronometrie AdC17 Split-seconds chronograph
- The Spanish brand presents a new two-tone, two counters split-seconds chronograph as a piece unique
- On the salmon dial, the tachymeter scale is made in knots
- The fully reworked calibre, based on the Venus 179, is finished at the highest standard with rhodium and pink gold plated bridges and steel and black polished accents
Auffret & Petermann Bedat ONLYWATCH
- Theo Auffret, Gaël Petermann and Florian Bédat join forces for a good cause on the occasion of ONLYWATCH 2023
- The two independent brands worked together on an extremely refined timepiece to raise funds against Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy
- With a calibre based on the Zenith 135 observatory chronometer, it has been completely reworked to unique specifications
Breitling Navitimer 46mm US edition
- Breitling releases a new iteration of the iconic Navitimer in a 46mm, two-tone case with a dark dial
- The anthracite dial with three black counters is brightened by the rose gold indices and the vivid red accents
- It is a US-exclusive limited edition of 300 pieces
Hanhart Pioneer Silva
- The Latin word “Silva” refers to the origin of the German company, in the heart of the Black Forest
- With a 38.5mm case, 10mm thickness and a sapphire crystal, this watch is perfect for daily use
- Inspired by the historical model Kal 36/39, it maintains its classic and very legible dial design

- The 1960s look is coming back with the updated automatic Manufacture Caliber 01
