The Time+Tide London Discovery Studio hosts the British Watchmakers’ Weekender
Russell SheldrakeThe London Discovery Studio is nearly open, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome you in. While we have a couple of other events to announce in the coming weeks, today, we are announcing the first event you can register for and check out our new space, The British Watchmakers’ Weekender. This event is being held in collaboration with the amazing people at the British Watch and Clock Makers’ Association, those incredible guys behind the runaway success of British Watchmaking Day. During this two-day event we will be bringing you some of the best British brands around for an intimate showcase throughout a weekend.
Our new Discovery Studio will open its doors on Oxford Circus on October 28th, hosting 11 permanent brands that we love, along with a host of constantly rotating brands for you to get to know. But for November 23rd and 24th, the space will be taken over by the British Watchmakers’ Alliance and a select group of brands from their ever-growing stable. While this will prove to be an excellent opportunity to get up close and personal with some of these incredible brands, it will also be a great way to experience our newest physical space.
You can find out all the information you need about The British Watchmakers’ Weekender here, along with getting hold of your tickets. In summary, you can book a 90-minute slot on either day to chat with the guys who make some of the best watches in the UK, handle their product, and even buy them right then and there. While British Watchmaking Day was incredible thanks to its scale, this weekend will prove to be a far better chance to have real discussions with the brand owners, allowing you to get a much better understanding of what these brands are like and how they stand apart from the rest of the market.
While our entire Discovery Studio will be overrun by these brands for this weekend, for the following four weeks after that, we will will have a rolling exhibition from some of them in our new purpose-built exhibition space, the White Room. So if you miss out on one of these hot tickets, you will still have the chance to see some of these watches by stopping by the London Discovery Studio all of December. Get hold of your ticket now to not be disappointed.
