Watches we got wrong until we held them…

Time+Tide

Don’t judge a book by its cover, never judge a watch by its render. There is a reason we all use the phrase ‘in the metal’ within the watch community. As great as a photo, video, reel, or review of a watch is put together, nothing beats getting to hold it in hand yourself. Too often, we are forced to judge a watch from afar, and as a result, our first impressions can be radically different from our in-hand final verdicts. In the latest Time+Tribe video below, Andrew, Marcus, and Zach each share a watch they got totally wrong. A watch they were at first not particularly fond of, only to later fall in lust once they held it ‘in the metal’.

What watches would you put your hands up and cop to getting completely wrong at first? Let us know in the comments.
